CogniFlex Review: What is CogniFlex?

Cogniflex is manufactured in the United States under GMP. The main claim of Cogniflex is focus and enhancing alertness, for entrepreneurs, students and athletes. The supplement goes on to state that it will help “open your brains hidden potential and improve your energy”, alongside other generic claims such as it will increase concentration and thus productivity. Cogniflex may be considered a nootropic, and the manufacturer claims that when taken daily for month it provides neuroprotective benefits.

Cogniflex contains a multitude of natural and synthetic chemicals make sure you do research on each element to see if it really works or if this supplement is a "scam". First of is Bacopa Monnieri, which is known generally to improve cognition, which comes from traditional Ayurvedic medicine. It increases blood flow to the brain and increases BDNF. Bacopa is effective only when supplemented at the right amount, and right quality (50% Bacosides) and for an extended period of time as so it can be built up in your system.

The second element is Rhodiola Rosea, which is a popular herb, known also as an Adaptogenic. It is usually supplemented by those looking to reduce stress, increase stamina and energy. The third ingredient is Huperzine, A which is a nootropic that helps prevent the breakdown of Acetylcholine in the brain. Choline is responsible for neuronal communication so we can see why this would be beneficial.

The fourth ingredient is Vinpocetine, which remains a bit controversial as a nootropic. L-Theanine is the next nootropic which is used mostly alongside Caffeine to reduce the jittery feeling, however having this included could help alleviate stress or perhaps help even out the burst of energy felt with Rhodiola. Based on anecdotal evidence by TMS users, this can actually be overstimulation for some users and may not work as intended and may actually put the user to sleep or make them feel tired.

Tyrosine is the next supplement in this stack, and it is useful when one has lacked sleep, it helps to remove any “waste product” and helps you ‘freshen up’, making you feel much more awake. At this point it may seem like the makers of Cogniflex have decided to literally throw everything in a supplement in hopes of something working in the user who takes the supplement. Additionally we really doubt a lot of research was done by this lab to see measure any sort of lift in memory or recall of any kind. Some supplements make sense but are low in quantity per pill, some supplements like Rhodiola for example should be cycled. Other supplements like Bacopa (based again on user evidence on TMS) should be supplemented at night as many users claim it demotivates them and potentially CAUSES brain fog immediately after.

Where to Buy Cogniflex

Cogniflex may be purchased on Amazon, GNC, Wal-Mart or any other supplement retailer; it retails for $50 and costs $10 to ship.

Our final verdict is, you may be better off trying AddysUp, Lumonol or even Adrafinil to stay up and get the most bang for your buck, especially if you just need something to 'hold you over' to work/study. If you are looking at a LONG TERM solution to improve brain performance, consider researching checking our nootropics list and build your own stack.
