In a nutshell, CILTEP is a natural nootropic that combines artichoke extract and forskolin to naturally induce longterm potentiation. Formulated by its creator Abelard Lindsay, CILTEP is a healthy way to stay focused, alert, and motivated for hours. Users typically experience results for 8-14 hours.
- Increased ability to study and retain information
- Improved Mood and Social Ability
- Boost concentration and long-term memory
- Maximum motivation and mental endurance
Mechanism of Action:
CREB is a ‘cellular transcription factor’, meaning that it can bind to DNA sequences in order to increase or decrease downstream gene transcription. This has been shown to be supportive of neural plasticity and long term potentiation. Low amounts of cAMP meanwhile have been linked to Huntington’s disease and other neurological disorders.
CILTeP aims to aid in this process by increasing the availability of ‘CREB activating cAMP’ via its luteolin content which is a natural inhibitor of an enzyme called ‘PDE4′ that otherwise breaks down cAMP. Meanwhile, the forskolin (which comes from a plant called coleus forskohlii), is able to increase cAMP in the cells. So foskolin increases cAMP in the cells, while the artichoke extract prevents it from being broken down.
CILTEP makes normal dopamine metabolism more effective at triggering the motivation, learning, and memory processes. Meanwhile the chemical dynamics of the dopamine system are preserved, avoiding the negative side effects associated with using traditional dopamine stimulation (such as is found in prescription stimulants).
Research has shown that increased intracellular cAMP increases the rate of dopamine and acetylcholine synthesis.[2, 3] L-Phenylalanine, L-Carnitine, and Vitamin B6 are included in the CILTEP formula to maintain optimal neurotransmitter levels.
On Side Effects:
There are no known side effects if used as directed. For that reason, thousands of people have chosen all-natural CILTEP as their preferred nootropic stack.
