Vitamin D, also known as Calciferol, refers to a group of secostreoids known to enhance intestinal absorption of calcium, iron, zinc, phosphate, and magnesium. Calciferol helps to maintain normal blood levels of calcium and phosphorus, which strengthen bones, helps form teeth and bones. As for the cognitive perspective, studies show that low levels of Vitamin are associated with cognitive impairment and have a higher risk for developing Alzheimer's disease although this has not yet been properly established.

Leucic Acid is a metabolite of leucine, a branched-chain amino acid. At the present, it is commonly sold as a purported muscle building supplement while having fungicidal properties. Leucic Acid has been used by athletes and body builders because it has shown to increase protein synthesis and muscle mass in clinical studies with rat subjects who ere recovering from a period of induced atrophy. However, further studies and clinical trials should still be conducted with Leucic Acid for its more potential benefits to the human health.
