Phenylalanine Alternatives

Phenylalanine Review

Phenylalanine ReviewPhenylalanine is an essential amino acid that is converted into Phenylethylamine, and ultimately increases levels of dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine within the brain. When supplemented at significant levels, it may actually disrupt serotonin production. Due to the increase in neurotransmitters that are commonly involved in concentration, critical thinking, and memory, it is thought to have a minor nootropic effect. Moreover, it is currently being used as a treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, and Parkinson's disease. Phenylalanine is categorized under Nutrients. It is also known as L-Phenylalanine, DL-Phenylalanine, DLPA, D-phenylalanine.
