Mucuna Pruriens is a legume found in rainforest climates including India and the Bahamas that has been thought to contain medicinal properties. As a supplement, it contains the dopaminergic precursor L-Dopa used to increase Dopamine levels thus, improving cognition and memory and is used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Also, its seeds, in the form of ground powder have been researched for treating other neurodegenerative disorders. Mucuna Pruriens is also known to boost mood and is used as an herbal remedy for depression and anxiety.



Tongkat Ali extract increases testosterone, sexual arousal and libido in men and women. It may affect mood, stress and cortisol levels as well. It is often referred to as "Natural Viagra". Its mechanism of action although is very different than that of erectile dysfunction medications. It is often used by men and women in countries like Malaysia to enhance libido. There is anecdotal evidence that it delays ejaculation and increases sperm quality.
