Chlorophytum borivilianum ReviewChlorophytum borivilianum is an Indian herb used in the Ayurvedic medicine. It belongs to the Rasayana class of vitality and was traditionally used as an aphrodisiac as well as in promoting longevity and as an aid for the treatment of diabetes, inflammation, and to increase the body's immunity. It was originally procured in the jungles but at the present time, it has begun to be cultivated. Chlorophytum borivilianum is also known as White Gold due to its color, or lack thereof, or its roots which are seen as the main active component. It has a high saponin and polysaccharide content, and the water extract appears to be the most active extraction from Chlorophytum borivilianum. In rat studies, Chlorophytum borivilianum appears to be an effectoive erectogenic agent and has increased spermatogenic and testicular size. It is also known as Safed Musli, Safed Moosli.
